R-MHOOT philosophy

Set up in September 2009, R-MHOOT (pronounced as ‘are-moot’) is a team of designers/producers/creators who seek ways to transform our physical environments into ones that would enhance our autonomy and release ourself from the somewhat co-dependent dominant system of today.

Always User-Producers

Each member of R-MHOOT sets up a project to design, produce objects or spaces that  they really want for themselves.

Creating objects or spaces for somebody else other than ourselves is not our primary interest.
We produce objects in quantities that are just about enough to share with people who have the same needs.
R-MHOOT are producers, designers, and users throughout the processes
